Carex morrowii 'Ice Dance'- Ice Dance Sedge is evergreen in the South and semi-evergreen in the North. Ice Dance has variegated foliage, dark green with white margins. Leaf blades are 1/2" wide, 12"-14" long and arching. Carex 'Ice Dance' spread slowly by rhizomes, not clumping like most Carex. Flowers brownish and insignificant in late Spring. Will grow in average soil. Requires moist to wet soil. Carex 'Ice Dance' thrives in shade/part shade. Keep well watered in more sunny and dry locations. Cut back foliage late Winter. Use for ground cover, mass planting, borders, edging, bog areas and to brighten up shade gardens, woodland gardens and around streams and pond banks. Mature height 12", spread 12"-15"
