Periwinkle (Myrtle)
Vinca minor is a classic ground cover for shade - an evergreen, trailing vine that spreads quickly once established. It prefers regular watering with well drained, fertile, loamy soil. Once mature, Vinca minor will tolerate an occasional drought. Shiny green, ½" x 1½" leaf. Blooms are ½", periwinkle blue in the Spring and blooms sparsely in Summer and Fall. Mature height 4"-6"
