Carex oshimensis 'Everillo' - This golden weeping Sedge is evergreen. Everillo Sedge has narrow, weeping, chartreuse foliage. Leaf blades are 1/4" wide, 19" long and weeping. Carex o. 'Everillo' has a clumping growth habit and spreads slowly to 12"-18" wide. Flowers brownish and insignificant in late Spring. Prefers average to moist, well drained soil. Will tolerate drought once established. Carex Everillo thrives in part shade to shade. May scald in full sun. Does not particularly care for heat and humidity. Needs good air circulation in the South. Use for ground cover, mass planting, borders, edging, and as a dramatic accent plant in shade gardens, woodland gardens and around streams and pond banks. Also good in container plant. Mature height 19", spread 12"-18"
