Coreopsis auriculata 'Nana'

Mouse-eared Coreopsis

Coreopsis auriculata 'Nana' is deciduous to evergreen.  The common name, Mouse-Eared Coreopsis, comes from the leaves' mouse-ear like basal lobes.  Foliage is 2"-3" long, dark green.  Golden Yellow daisy like flowers emerge on stems just above the foliage in Spring and last into early Summer.  Dead-heading can lengthen bloom time.  Prefers well drained average to moist soil.  Will tolerate poor soil.  Coreopisis a. 'Nana' does best with consistent moisture.  Spreads by stolons but not invasive.  Useful for borders, edging, rock gardens and ground cover.  Mature height 6"-10", spread 8"-12"
